Job summary

Wilco Contractors Northwest is seeking skilled Excavator Operators to support civil earthworks and infrastructure projects around Edmonton. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and timely delivery on meaningful sites.

Applicants should have 5+ years operating excavators, be able to read grades and site plans, and possess CSTS/Ground Disturbance certification. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are musts for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Excavator operating experience.
• Ability to read grades, stakes, plans and site instructions.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• CSTS and Ground Disturbance certification are a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Excavator on loading, trenching, and site preparation tasks.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Read site plans, stakes, and grades to guide operation.
• Collaborate with Foremen, Gradepersons, Labourers, and Project Teams.
• Maintain production while ensuring quality workmanship and safety.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
