Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry (FVSP) is hiring a dependable Jr Shipper for our Forge Pl distribution warehouse in Chilliwack, BC. This hands-on role focuses on accuracy, food safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You'll rotate through the evisceration line, handle raw poultry to CFIA standards, and support other departments as needed. We offer extended health benefits, paid orientation, advancement opportunities, and a safe, team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in food processing is a plus.
• Forklift ticket is an asset.
• WHMIS and basic first aid knowledge are assets.
• Ability to lift and move product up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all jobs on the evisceration line.
• Cut raw poultry to CFIA standards.
• Remove inedible parts and trim poultry.
• Handle raw poultry for packaging.
• Maintain and follow company policies and SOPs.
• Adhere to HACCP and WorkSafeBC requirements.
• Support other departments as needed.

What you’ll do

• Rotation of all jobs on the evisceration line
• Cutting of raw poultry to CFIA standards
• Removing of inedible parts
• Trimming and salvaging of poultry
• Handling of raw poultry in preparation for packaging
• Maintain and adhere to all company policies and SOP's
• Adhere to all HACCP and WorkSafeBC requirements
• Help in other departments as required

Who we’re looking for

• Able to lift and move product (up to approximately 25 kg / 55 lbs).
• Forklift license preferred but not required; training provided for committed hires.

Relevant Experience: Any sort of food processing experience, forklift ticket, air ticket, WHMIS, food safe and first aid are all assets to this position but not required.
