Job description

About Us

The world’s most pressing problem requires the world’s best talent to fix it, and here at CarbonChain we’re bringing together a superstar team to tackle decarbonisation head on. We’re lean, scrappy and determined to make a massive impact by helping the world’s biggest emitters measure their full emissions and enact plans to reduce them.

At CarbonChain we see the climate challenge as a transformative opportunity for the global economy, and a rewarding career opportunity for those willing to take on the challenge in a rapidly growing market.

Our People

CarbonChain’s people are passionate about solving huge challenges, are driven by personal and mutual success, and take extreme ownership for their individual part of getting us to world-changing results. We live and breathe our values every day, and pride ourselves on creating a positive, inclusive and world‑class environment for our talent to develop. We’ve got MBAs and PhDs, and experience leading huge initiatives and teams at some of the world’s best companies and scale‑ups, but we know that there’s a lot we don’t know, and we’re hoping you can help fill that gap.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone to help us design and deliver events that put CarbonChain on the map, from flagship industry conferences to intimate client dinners, plus a regular run of webinars and workshops. You’ll play a role in every stage from planning, promotion, execution and to follow‑up. The goal here is simple: events that impress our audience and drive real commercial impact.

This role is hands‑on. One day you’ll be booking venues and building invite lists, the next you’ll be briefing speakers, prepping branded materials, or working with demand gen to boost registrations. You’ll be part of a lean team where details matter, deadlines are tight, and every event is a chance to showcase CarbonChain’s brand and expertise.

You’ll work closely with marketing, sales and leadership to ensure our events strengthen pipeline, deepen relationships and leave a lasting impression on attendees.

You are someone who
  • Has experience running events in B2B, tech, finance or sustainability, or is eager to learn fast
  • Can juggle multiple moving parts with strong attention to detail
  • Enjoys both the creative spark of event ideas and the logistical discipline to make them happen
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with colleagues, partners and suppliers
  • Is excited to join a high‑growth startup where no two days look the same
Specific Responsibilities Include
  • Support planning and delivery of CarbonChain’s full events calendar, from global conferences to small roundtables and webinars
  • Manage logistics such as venues, catering, guest lists, travel, suppliers, and digital platforms
  • Collaborate with marketing on branding, invites, promotional content and social media campaigns
  • Help run the show on event days to ensure everything goes smoothly, and manage post‑event follow‑up
  • Track and report on performance: registrations, attendance, engagement and pipeline impact
What Success Looks Like
  • CarbonChain events are professional, memorable and highly valued by attendees
  • Sales and marketing can point to new opportunities influenced by events
  • Event processes are documented and repeatable, enabling us to scale fast
  • Attendees walk away feeling their time was well spent and worth repeating
The Fine Print

This role is perfect for someone at the start of their career, with a few years’ experience, who wants to learn and grow in marketing while playing a visible role in a company tackling the climate crisis. You will get exposure to senior leaders, industry events and the fast‑paced world of climate tech, with real responsibility from day one.

As CarbonChain grows, your role will evolve too. You will have the opportunity to take on bigger projects, shape our events strategy, and build skills across marketing.

Benefits
  • 28 days of annual leave
  • £500 home office set‑up allowance
  • £2,000 annual learning allowance
  • Weekly team lunches in the office
  • Subsidised gym classes, office gym, and cycle‑to‑work scheme
  • Generous parental leave policy
  • Private healthcare

CarbonChain values diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds.

If you think your skills and experience match what we’re looking for and you would like to join the next Climate Tech industry unicorn, please get in touch. You can find out more about interviewing at CarbonChain at https://www.carbonchain.com/careers/interview-process.
