Job summary

Bedard Human Resources is seeking a skilled chef for an exciting role within a world-renowned arts organization in Vancouver. The candidate will design and prepare a variety of cooked dishes, applying diverse techniques to create high-quality plates for artists, crew members, and VIP guests.

Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and collaborating with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a chef.
• Strong command of basic culinary techniques and cutting skills.
• Must be available to commute.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare a variety of cooked dishes.
• Apply diverse cooking techniques including sautéing, grilling, frying, and more.
• Oversee food preparation and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
