Your opportunity:
The Rotman Office of Recruitment, Admissions and Business Development (RABD) recruits and admits talented professionals who aim to push their limits, expand their creativity and develop their leadership potential via one of the School’s eleven graduate management programs. The RABD team will achieve this goal using industry-standard best practices in strategic enrolment management. As the Event Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and oversee the logistical planning and delivery of events and relatedprogramming. You will coordinate space, resources, schedules, and operational requirements across multiple program and event calendars, ensuring events are delivered effectively and seamlessly. The role will be responsible for conceptualizing, organizing, and executing event activities; identifying and resolving issues as they arise and escalating matters when appropriate; and implementing process improvements to enhance event planning and delivery. You will also contribute to the development of marketing and promotional content, compile and organize data for reporting purposes, and support a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for event participants. The Event Coordinator will also provide direction to casual staff and other event support personnel as required. Reporting to the Associate Director, Graduate Program Recruitment you will work with colleagues across the RABD portfolio and the Rotman School to achieve the School’s recruitment goals, and be a key contributor to a dynamic and strategic enrolment management-driven recruitment and admissions operation dedicated to shaping the incoming classes of transformational graduate business programs at the University of Toronto.
