Description

This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. The Event Concierge is often the liaison between the hotel and the meeting planner.
Responsibilities
- Prompt Meet and Greet Clients at the beginning of schedule
- Constantly Monitor Customer Personal and Practical Needs, making sure that they are satisfied throughout the entire day.
- Monitor all client communication such as Phone, ECA App, Text Group and provide immediate responses to Meeting Planner requests
- Supporting Meeting Planners and Operations team to ensure events are set as per Daily Detail Report
- Proactive walkthrough of event space to maintain quality and reporting defects to Engineering & Events Leadership.
- Daily walkthrough for cleanliness and accuracy of event set up and act immediately when correction is required
- Monitor and assist with directing meeting attendees this may include elevator or escalator control
- Service recovery – work with hotel partners to recover service levels
- Responsible for tracking boxes and shipments, delivering meeting planner supplies, and anticipating potential opportunities before they occur.
- Works closely with Catering Sales, Planning managers and Director of Events on other duties, responsibilities assigned as necessary.
- Other duties assigned by the Leader.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software (experience with property management systems, Salesforce, or similar software is a plus).
Hourly Pay: $ 21/ Hr
Position Requirements
Successful completion of a background check required prior to employment.
