Responsibilities

Coordinate Events (60%)

• Plan and support Chamber events such as luncheons, mixers, awards galas, and speaker series
• Handle logistics: venues, catering, sponsors, signage, and registration
• Provide on-site support including set-up, guest services, and issue resolution
• Track event data and feedback for continuous improvement

Create Communications (40%)

• Write and schedule newsletters, social media posts, and website updates
• Promote events and programs through digital and print materials
• Draft speaker bios, and member updates

Work with design tools (e.g., Canva) to develop promotional assets

Qualifications

• Education or experience in communications, marketing, PR, or event planning
• 1–3 years in a similar role, preferably in a business, nonprofit, or tourism setting
• Excellent writing, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with tools like Mailchimp, Canva, Eventbrite, WordPress, and social media platforms
