Responsibilities
- Lead our evening coverage on 24/7 and CityNews Calgary.
- Oversee the Alberta 24/7 stream; ensure content is current and relevant.
- Monitor breaking news locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Write content and vet stories.
- Bring daily news programs to air.
- Collaborate with Supervising Producer for show and stream needs/requirements.
- Assign news stories when needed.
- Coordinate visuals/materials to tell stories.
- Support field teams (VJs, ENG).
- Contribute to ideas and pitches for stories.
- Provide support during special events (e.g., elections, referendums).
