Job summary

BGBx in Canada seeks a Medical Editor to ensure the editorial integrity and factual accuracy of marketing materials, aligning with AMA style, client standards, and FDA rules.

The role supports after-hours needs (Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM ET), edits content, fact-checks, and upholds quality across campaigns. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in medical education or related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or Life Sciences or related field.
• 2–3 years in medical education, pharma advertising, or medical publishing preferred.
• Familiarity with AMA style and FDA rules/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Edit initial round of jobs for content, AMA/client style and FDA compliance.
• Fact-check scientific/medical data and ensure copy accuracy.
• Ensure formatting quality and visual layout consistency.
• Maintain comprehensive style guides and contribute to timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide mentorship as needed.
