Job summary

VC3, Inc. is seeking an IT Security Analyst I (Evening Shift) to join our Technology Operations team. This remote Canada role focuses on security monitoring, incident response, and client-focused threats in a growing, remote-friendly environment.

You will triage alerts, log investigations, and produce clear timelines and reports for internal teams and clients, while working 4pm–1am EST. Join a company that values Go Beyond, Own It, Be Curious, and Serve as One.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in the Information Security or related field.
• Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA, C|EH, SSCP, or equivalent.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, firewall management, and endpoint detection and response platforms.
• One year or more of experience with EDR solutions, ESGs, vulnerability management and content filtering.

Responsibilities

• Translate Cyber Security concepts into non-technical terms for clients.
• Manage security event monitoring and incident response ticket queues.
• Triage to meet service level agreements/objectives.
• Convey indicators of compromise, isolation, and remediation steps clearly.
• Analyze logs to diagnose faults and spot abnormal behavior.
• Investigate alerts with EDR tools and build accurate timelines.
