Job summary

North American Trade Schools is seeking an HVAC instructor to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of trade experience and relevant certifications (G2 minimum).

You will model professional behavior in class and lab, deliver curriculum virtually and in person, and support students toward their academic goals. You will manage attendance, submit grades, participate in orientations and staff meetings, and stay current with industry trends while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trade experience with the relevant certifications (G2 minimum).
• Bachelor degree from a Canadian university or equivalent.
• Graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent.
• Graduate of a registered PCC or equivalent.
• Certificate of Qualification under the Ontario College of Trades or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the curriculum through lecture presentations (virtually and in person).
• Use CRM software and LMS as required.
• Take daily attendance and follow up to ensure retention goals are met.
• Record and submit grades in a timely manner.
• Be available for student support outside of class times.
• Attend all required faculty/staff meetings and graduations.
• Stay current on industry trends and maintain certification or licensure.
• Work with Career Services to ensure students are progressing as planned.
• Create and maintain an organized lesson plan and work area.
• Continue professional development within the industry you are instructing.

Education

Bachelor degree (Canada)

College of Applied Arts and Technology graduate

Ontario PCC or equivalent

Ontario Certificate of Qualification or equivalent
