Job summary

Bethany Calgary is seeking a Health Care Aide to provide resident-centered care at Rainbow Terrace. You will document observations for the care team and assist with activities of daily living while maintaining residents' privacy and dignity.

The role requires English communication, a Health Care Aide certificate and HLCA/LPNB registration in Alberta; part-time evening shifts available in Calgary, AB.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education and Health Care Aide certificate required.
• Registration with CLHA in Alberta preferred.
• Excellent observation, communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care per care plans, respecting privacy and dignity.
• Document care and observations to the RN or LPN in a timely manner.
• Monitor and document residents’ holistic needs in the health care record.
• Contribute to a safe environment by following safety policies.
• Live Bethany's mission and values, supporting a caring community.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate resident needs.
