Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial work is an asset.
• WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
• Ability to meet physical demands (lift, bend, stand, operate cleaning equipment).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior cleaning of floors, washrooms, common areas, offices, and program rooms.
• Maintain exterior spaces and secure the facility after hours.
• Restock supplies and maintain basic inventory of cleaning products.
• Clean fridges, windows, surfaces, and high-touch areas; empty trash and recycling.
• Support after-hours cleaning and occasional event-related tasks.
