Job summary

Oxford International Halifax Centre is seeking an experienced instructor to deliver the evening CCA program. The role requires regular evening availability from 1pm to 9:30pm, teaching theory, lab, and clinical components to students pursuing Continued Care Assistant credentials.

The ideal candidate holds LPN/RN registration in Nova Scotia in good standing, with at least five years in healthcare and a background in adult education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare.
• NS LPN/RN registration in good standing.
• Available to work flexible daytime/evening shifts.
• Experience in adult education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evening theoretical, lab, and clinical instruction per NS/Oxford curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional materials using adult-learning methods.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment supporting student success.
• Monitor student progress in classroom, lab, and placement settings.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and other student records.
• Provide one-on-one advising and performance coaching.
• Coordinate student placements and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support scheduling and program operations; assist recruitment as needed.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation requirements are met.
