Job summary

Oxford International Halifax Centre seeks an experienced LPN/RN instructor to support and lead the Continuing Care Assistant program. You will deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, monitor student progress, and help with program operations and recruitment as needed.

Requires Nova Scotia LPN/RN registration, at least 5 years in healthcare, and ability to work flexible day/evening shifts. Cambridge? No; Halifax Centre location; Oxford standards apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in the healthcare field.
• Current LPN/RN registration in Nova Scotia in good standing.
• Must be available and willing to work flexible hours, including both daytime and evening shifts, based on program delivery and operational requirements.
• Experience in adult education and/or healthcare instruction considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical, laboratory, and clinical instruction per curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional materials using adult learning methods.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment that supports student success.
• Monitor student progress in classroom, lab, and placement settings.
• Coordinate, monitor, and supervise student placements as required.
• Support recruitment, admissions, onboarding and progression processes.
