Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking an Automation Engineer to support EV battery pack development and validation testing in a North America lab environment. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and supporting automated test scripts for battery testing and data analysis.

You will work with battery test engineers to ensure safe, efficient lab operations, applying best practices in scripting, documentation, and problem solving. On-site, Mon-Fri, with some travel to the US preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related field required.
3+ years in test scripting and automation of hardware systems.
Proficiency in VB Script, MATLAB, and Python.
Working knowledge of CAN communication.
Strong problem solving and documentation skills.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Create, peer review, validate, release, and maintain automated test scripts for battery pack testing.
Ensure test scripts comply with safety requirements and functional specs.
Provide ongoing software and automation support for lab tests.
Troubleshoot test script, software, and execution issues.
Provide on testbed support to ensure tests run safely and correctly.
Support test engineers in project meetings and RCA activities.
Escalate safety or operational issues to management.
Maintain clear communication with test requestors to align requirements.
Apply software development best practices to ensure script quality and maintainability.
Support data processing and analysis as required.
