Responsibilities include:

1. Design and develop ETL processes using SSIS and SQL Server.
2. Build and maintain data warehouse solutions.
3. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in IBM Netezza.
4. Implement data cleaning, transformation, and validation rules.
5. Identify and resolve ETL and query performance issues.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver solutions.
7. Provide production support and resolve data issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications include:

• Strong experience in ETL development using SSIS/SSRS.
• Hands-on knowledge of IBM Netezza and SQL Server/Sybase databases.
• Experience in data warehousing concepts, design, and performance tuning.
• Excellent SQL skills and understanding of complex data integration scenarios.
• 6+ years of experience in the banking/financial services domain.
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem Hive SQL, Pentaho.
• Experience with AWS services Redshift, EMR, Spark.
• Exposure to Kafka message processing, batch interfaces, and cloud ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of lending systems, MDM for customer demographics, and core banking (retail/commercial deposits) within the Canadian financial landscape.
