Description

Scope

• The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) requires a Senior Software Developer – ETL to interface the new Dynamics 365 solution and data warehouse with internal (OPS) and external systems, as part of the integrations team comprising internal and vendor staff.

Assignment Deliverables

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integrations between Dynamics 365, data warehouse, and other systems, including data migration, system configuration, performance optimization, documentation, and support.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and scripts based on specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing for system and integration validation.
• Collaborate on integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support project testing and data validation activities.
• Plan and execute data migration activities, ensuring system integration.
• Verify configuration, tuning, and optimization of Dynamics 365 applications.
• Analyze and optimize system performance.
• Provide user guidance through documentation and training.
• Develop data transfer processes using APIs, Power Platform, Logic Apps, etc.
• Implement encryption/decryption processes in Azure.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance tasks, including documenting processes.

Additional Responsibilities

• Complete work within deadlines and communicate issues promptly.
• Submit deliverables for approval and adhere to security and architecture standards.
• Transfer knowledge to staff and comply with relevant policies and guidelines.

Skills and Experience

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP (Customer Engagement, Finance & Operations), PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Data Factory, Data Pipelines.
• 5+ years of experience integrating data sources and systems using Azure ETL or similar tools.
• 5+ years leading testing efforts.
• Deep knowledge of Dynamics integration technologies (DataVerse, APIs).
• Understanding of data pipeline architectures and Azure workflow tools.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, PowerShell, C#, and related technologies.
• Strong SQL skills, data modeling, and query optimization expertise.

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and data warehousing (Azure Synapse).
