Responsibilities include :

• Design and develop ETL processes using SSIS and SQL Server.
• Build and maintain data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in IBM Netezza.
• Implement data cleaning, transformation, and validation rules.
• Identify and resolve ETL and query performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide production support and resolve data issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications include :

• Strong experience in ETL development using SSIS / SSRS.
• Hands-on knowledge of IBM Netezza and SQL Server / Sybase databases.
• Experience in data warehousing concepts, design, and performance tuning.
• Excellent SQL skills and understanding of complex data integration scenarios.
• 6+ years of experience in the banking / financial services domain.
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem Hive SQL, Pentaho.
• Experience with AWS services Redshift, EMR, Spark.
• Exposure to Kafka message processing, batch interfaces, and cloud ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of lending systems, MDM for customer demographics, and core banking (retail / commercial deposits) within the Canadian financial landscape.
