Job summary

Assured Automotive is part of The Boyd Group and has offered collision repair expertise for over 30 years. We are seeking an estimator with at least 1 year of estimating experience in a collision repair environment to join our team across Western and Central Canada.

You will write accurate damage estimates, guide customers through the repair process and ensure quotes reflect repairs, parts, and labor. Proficiency with Mitchell and Qapter, as well as strong knowledge of OE guidelines, is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year estimating experience in collision repair.
• Proficiency with Mitchell and Qapter for damage estimates.
• Strong knowledge of OE guidelines and vehicle repair practices.

Responsibilities

• Write accurate estimates for vehicle damage and repairs.
• Provide customers with timely information guiding them through the repair process.
• Ensure information is accurately recorded in ASE with each interaction.
• Coordinate with team to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
• Participate in training sessions and store management reviews.
• Contribute to KPI performance through effective customer interactions.

Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.


• Write accurate estimates for the damage of vehicle and repairs to be completed


• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process


• Ensure ASE is updated accurately with important details from every customer interaction


• Ensure compliance with all insurance requirements


• Communicate all customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members


• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team


• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager


• Build customer relationships and apply learning to maximize KPI performance (Sales/ GP/ EBITDA/ BHPD/ NPS, Return Rate, etc.)

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• A minimum of 1 year of estimating experience in a collision repair environment or a similar role

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Experience using Mitchell and Qapter


• Working knowledge of vehicle repair practices and OE guidelines


• Strong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft Office


• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy


• Ability to multitask and effectively manage a fast paced environment

Other Requirements

• Travel, physical requirements, etc.


• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation Details

• Salary: $55,600 - $85,000 per year


• Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
