Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an Estimator with 3–7 years of construction experience to grow their estimating career in Kelowna.

You will contribute to cost analysis, take-offs, subcontractor pricing, and bid preparation for commercial, residential, and light industrial projects. You’ll collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing, review drawings and specifications, and help prepare tender submissions.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of estimating, project coordination, or related construction experience.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Exposure to quantity take-offs, construction pricing, budgeting, and the tendering process.
• Experience with MS Office and estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff (OST); BIM experience is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills with an interest in continuing to develop your estimating knowledge.

Description

You’re an Estimator with 3-7 years of construction experience and an interest in growing your estimating career. You have exposure to quantity take-offs, cost analysis, subcontractor pricing, and bid preparation and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

You’ll support the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for commercial, residential, and light industrial construction projects.

Compensation

$63,600.00 - $87,450.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
