Job summary

Kirmac Collision & Autoglass in Chilliwack, BC is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator. You will guide customers through the repair process and coordinate with technicians, insurers, and the customer to ensure accurate, efficient repairs.

The role requires 2+ years in collision estimating, strong automotive knowledge, and proficiency with Mitchell or Audatex. EV/ADAS awareness is a plus; open, client-focused communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collision estimating experience.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Mitchell or Audatex).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with insurance procedures, guidelines, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of EV/ADAS repair considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the repair experience with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with technicians, production teams, and insurers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Stay current on modern repair methods, vehicle technology, and insurer requirements.
• Assess damage on EVs, hybrids, ADAS-enabled vehicles, and advanced materials for OEM-compliant repair planning.
• Identify when high-voltage safety procedures or specialized EV processes are required.

What You’ll Do

As a Collision Estimator, you’ll be the trusted guide for customers throughout the repair process. Your expertise ensures accuracy, efficiency, and confidence—for both customers and insurance partners.

• Guide customers through the repair experience with professionalism and care
• Collaborate with technicians, production teams, and insurers to ensure smooth workflow
• Stay current on modern repair methods, vehicle technology, and insurer requirements
• Assess damage on EVs, hybrids, ADAS‑equipped vehicles, and vehicles with advanced materials, ensuring OEM‑compliant repair planning
• Identify when high‑voltage safety procedures, calibrations, or specialized EV processes are required
• Support quality, safety, and operational excellence through accurate repair planning
• Contribute to a positive, high‑performance shop environment

What You Bring

• 2+ years of collision estimating experience
• Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of repair processes
• Familiarity with insurance procedures, guidelines, and industry standards
• Proficiency with estimating software (Mitchell, Audatex, or similar)
