Job description

The Estate & Insurance Advisor is a highly motivated individual who provides customized professional advice to generate insurance sales in alignment with the desired client experience and overall business objectives. The role operates in the HighNetWorth and UltraHighNetWorth sphere and involves working in partnership with BMO Private Wealth Professionals to meet their HighNetWorth clients estate protection and wealth planning needs. The role will be responsible for achieving insurance product revenue results and increasing market share profitability and NPS.

  • Works with Investment Advisors to obtain referrals and generate life and disability sales.
  • Develops insurance sales strategies and presents clients with concepts focused on estate planning / financial / retirement.
  • Develops marketing materials to enhance sales concepts in alignment with the desired client experience.
  • Develop professional seminars for Investment Advisors and their clients.
  • Develops maintains and executes a business plan including relationship management strategies to achieve retention objectives.
  • Provides exceptional client experience and service to ensure client needs are met or exceeded to enhance sales activities referrals and client retention.
  • Addresses customer services issues according to established parameters escalating as required.
  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal / external stakeholders and ensures alignment.
  • Breaks down strategic problems and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
  • Executes work to deliver timely accurate and efficient service.
  • Supports the development and promotion of a business / group program.
  • Supports the achievement of the business plan.
  • Supports the delivery of the desired client experience to enhance business opportunities.
  • Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders to build capability and drive business growth.
  • Adheres to legal and compliance requirements while conducting business activities.
  • Executes work to deliver timely accurate and efficient service.
  • Focus is primarily on business / group within BMO; may have broader enterprisewide focus.
  • Exercises judgment to identify diagnose and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently on a range of complex tasks which may include unique situations.

Qualifications :

  • Typically 7 years of relevant experience and postsecondary degree in related field of study.
  • Prior experience creating complex insurance solutions.
  • Prior large case experience supporting HNW / UHNW clients.
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and / or business experience.
  • Collaboration & team skills Indepth.

Salary : Pay Type :

Commission

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performancebased incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
