Job summary

The Near North District School Board invites applications for an Instructor - English as a Second Language as part of the Adult Non-Credit Language Training Program funded by MLITSD, commencing immediately.

The program runs 10 hours per week with some flexibility in times; Location: Laurentian Learning Centre - North Bay, Virtual Online Instruction.

Compensation is CAD 35.00 per hour, including 4% vacation and 4% statutory holiday pay.

Qualifications

• TESL Ontario Certificate or willingness to undertake certification, or ESL Part 1 with ESL teaching experience, preferably with adult learners
• Proven ability to teach ESL to adults and to form partnerships with service partners
