The ESG Reporting & Governance Lead will support the development and execution of the Company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting strategy. This includes producing key ESG disclosures such as the annual Sustainability Report, Conflict-Free Gold Report, Responsible Gold Report, and coordinating third-party assurance processes. The role also involves maintaining and improving the Company’s sustainability reporting software.
The Lead will assist in preparing ESG content for regulatory filings, oversee responses to ESG raters and rankers, monitor emerging ESG reporting trends, and collaborate with internal teams and senior management on various reports and strategies, including sustainability governance and human rights.

What You Need to Succeed
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, or a related field, with experience in the mining sector being advantageous. They should have leadership experience, expertise in sustainability and climate issues, and knowledge of ESG standards like GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CSDS. Familiarity with ESG rating agencies and at least 8 years of relevant experience are preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
