Vacancy: Replacement

Brief Overview of the Position

As an ESG Intern at Husky Technologies, the primary responsibility will be to support the development of Husky's ESG Report, including data collection, stakeholder coordination, content development, and report preparation. The role will also involve researching ESG best practices and assisting with internal ESG communications. This position provides hands-on experience in corporate sustainability reporting and cross-functional ESG project management.

Key Responsibilities

• ESG Reporting: Support the development of Husky's ESG Report, including data collection, content development, and report preparation.
• Data Collection: Gather ESG-related data from various departments and business units using Husky's global ESG platform to support reporting requirements and customer sustainability requests.
• Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing ESG data, identifying trends, and supporting sustainability performance assessments.
• Research: Conduct benchmarking and research on ESG trends, reporting standards, and industry best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across the organization to support ESG projects and customer sustainability requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Passion for ESG and sustainability.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, EcoVadis, and GHG Protocol is an asset.
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• Strong team ethic and collaborative mindset.
• Positive and flexible attitude.

Reporting Structure

The intern will report to the Project Manager, ESG, and support Husky's ESG reporting, sustainability initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities.
