Job summary

The City of Maple Ridge is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Database Administrator to support a large ERP implementation. You will manage database systems, optimize performance, and ensure secure data migration and integration across financial and HR platforms.

You will develop ETL processes, maintain environments, document architectures, and collaborate with IT teams to achieve reliable data exchanges while aligning with privacy policies during migration and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with courses in database management and administration, plus related experience.
• Strong knowledge of database administration, development, design and management.
• Experience with data migration, data integration and ERP projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, install, monitor and optimize the City’s corporate database systems.
• Focus on data migration and integration between financial, HR and other critical systems.
• Develop ETL processes and data integrations for legacy to ERP systems.
• Maintain test, development and staging environments to match production.
• Document existing and proposed database environments and support data modeling and development.
