Job description

As an ERP Financial Consultant, you will work with small to medium-sized public institutions, including cities and counties across North America, to support the implementation and configuration of financial ERP systems. In this role, you will leverage your accounting experience to help clients streamline their financial processes, perform data conversions, and deliver training. This position is ideal for someone with public accounting or ERP experience who is eager to develop expertise in ERP implementations and work within the public sector. This is not an entry-level role; however, training in the product will be provided as required. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the configuration of ERP financial systems, including SAP ByDesign (training will be provided).
• Participate in data conversion activities, ensuring accurate migration of financial data from legacy systems to the ERP system.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial processes and configure ERP systems to meet their needs.
• Support system testing to ensure all financial processes are functioning as expected.
• Deliver end-user training to ensure client teams are well-prepared to operate the ERP system.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for clients.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and interactions with clients.
• The ability to travel to customer sites is critical to this role.
