Job summary

Microserve is seeking a technically strong and business-minded Business Systems Analyst to join their IT team at the head office in Port Coquitlam, BC. You will bridge operations and technology, supporting ERP and warehouse management systems, analyzing data, and driving system enhancements from requirements gathering through to delivery.

This hands-on analyst role requires programming background, strong SQL skills, and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an enterprise IT environment as a Business Systems Analyst or similar.
• Background in programming; starting as a developer is a strong asset.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS or other enterprise apps.
• Proven ability to translate business problems into requirements and solutions.
• Experience in retail, distribution, or supply chain is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise applications, including ERP and warehouse management platforms.
• Lead system enhancements, coordinating work packages and timelines.
• Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and tech investments.
• Translate requirements into solutions by working with business users.
• Develop SQL-based dashboards and reports to track KPIs and trends.
• Evaluate and recommend systems and tools aligned with goals.
• Provide data-driven insights to support operations and decisions.
• Champion change and assist with adoption and training.
