Blackberry in Toronto, Ontario is looking for an Accounting Manager to provide temporary contract support across Corporate Accounting and Accounting Operations during a NetSuite ERP reimplementation, ensuring continuity of month-end close and financial reporting.

The role requires hands-on accounting with strong general ledger expertise and NetSuite experience, plus the ability to work independently across accounting, operations, and project-related activities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive corporate accounting, public accounting, or accounting operations experience.
• Experience supporting ERP implementation, reimplementation, data validation, data migration, testing, process documentation, or system-related accounting projects is an asset.
• Professional accounting designation, such as CPA Canada or U.S. CPA, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary contract support across Corporate Accounting and Accounting Operations during NetSuite ERP reimplementation.
• Ensure continuity of month-end close activities, financial reporting and compliance deliverables.
• Prepare, review and approve journal entries including accruals, reclassifications, fixed asset and intangible asset entries.
• Review fixed assets, lease and intangible asset schedules with GL analysis.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes within timelines.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, SOX controls and internal policies.
• Assist with data cleansing, migration readiness, and validation of financial data integrations.
