Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Wellness Specialist to join the Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team in Canada. The role focuses on onsite injury prevention, proactive safety, and ergonomic coaching within an Amazon Fulfillment Center, reporting to the Site WHS Manager.

Responsibilities include leading ergonomic interventions, workplace evaluations, and transforming injury data into actionable safety strategies to protect associates and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in athletic therapy, human kinetics, physiotherapy, ergonomics, or kinesiology.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience in an occupational or industrial setting.
• Experience working with a cross functional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite injury prevention and proactive safety initiatives.
• Provide ergonomic training and engagement to associates.
• Design and implement ergonomic interventions based on risk assessments.
• Conduct workplace evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.
