Job summary

North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role requires current OCN registration, BLS and ACLS, plus relevant ED experience. A fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and patient-centered care is emphasized.

Candidates should be bilingual (English/French) or prepared for bilingual assessment. Orientation will cover advanced nursing skills and safety protocols, with a commitment to ongoing education and quality improvement within the Emergency

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• BLS for Health Care Providers certificate current within 12 months.
• ACLS certificate current within 2 years.
• CTAS certification would be an asset.
• Experience on Medical/Surgical unit (2–3 years).
• Experience in Emergency within last 2–3 years.
• Ability to obtain added nursing skills and delegated medical acts by end of orientation.
