Qualifications

• Certificate of competency in Ontario.
• IV Therapy course completed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and patient/family education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Provide health teaching to patients and families.
• Make clinical decisions ensuring best nursing care within available resources.
• Contribute to theory-based practice and nursing/unit objectives.
• Maintain professional relationships and effective communication within the team.
