Job summary

Queen's University, through the Yellow House Student Centre for Equity & Inclusion, seeks a dedicated professional to design and implement programs supporting QTBIPoC students. The role involves collaborating with student staff and clubs to elevate voices, and shaping initiatives that foster inclusive campus culture.

The position engages with stakeholders to ensure equity, diversity, and inclusion are embedded in operations, planning, and delivery of workshops, events, and experiential learning

Qualifications

• Advises and consults with stakeholders to ensure equity, diversity, and inclusion are considered in departmental operations and planning.
• Develops, coordinates, and implements programs, services, workshops, and events to increase visibility for underrepresented students.
• Plans and evaluates non-traditional learning activities including placements, mini-stream offerings, exchanges, and other experiential learning opportunities.
• Researches, analyzes, and collaborates on approaches that support goals for equity, diversity, and inclusion of students.

Responsibilities

• Advise and consult with stakeholders to ensure ED&I principles are considered in all aspects of departmental operations and program planning.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement planning and delivery of programs, services, workshops, and events to raise visibility for underrepresented students.
• Research and refine programs and approaches that support ED&I goals for students.
