Ontario Health atHome is looking for an experienced EIDAR professional to support the operationalization of EIDAR initiatives and activities. Reporting to the Manager, Equity, Inclusion, Diversity and Anti-Racism the EIDAR Business Partner helps facilitate the planning, development and implementation of EIDAR strategies, functions, groups and initiatives. These efforts drive and support our shared commitment to EIDAR that enables the success of Ontario Health atHome priorities and objectives.

What will you do?

  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of EIDAR plans, strategies, initiatives and programs in alignment with the organization’s EIDAR Framework.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of EIDAR engagement plans to inform key EIDAR initiatives.
  • Support Employee Resource Group (ERG) operations by contributing to initative design, development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain resources to support ERG operations as deemed necessary by management.
  • Coordinate with the ERGs to maintain an EIDAR calendar with planned engagements for days of significance.
  • Support the development and management of EIDAR Advisor Committee meeting materials, activities and communications.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery and implementation of EIDAR learning and development opportunities.
  • Support the development, preparation and facilitation of large and small group sessions, virtually and in-person.
  • Research and translate complex EIDAR concepts into accessible and actionable learnings.
  • Collaborate with communications on rollout plans for key EIDAR initiatives.
  • Collaborate on strategies to meaningfully engage staff and leaders on EIDAR initiatives.
  • Maintain internal staff EIDAR page, adding new resources and updating existing resources.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees.
  • Navigate sensitive discussions and topics equitably and inclusively.

What must you have?

  • University degree in organizational development, industrial / organizational psychology, organizational behavior, human resources, conflict, education or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in EIDAR, HR, OD, OB, psychology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of EIDAR best practices, strategies, objectives and programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to respectfully receive and provide feedback.
  • Proven understanding of key organizational EIDAR best practices related to equity, inclusion, diversity, anti-racism, accessibility and reconciliation.
  • Self-directed with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize and multi-task.
  • Practical understanding of the value of collaboration and consultation to inform effective EIDAR initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrated in EIDAR-related contexts.
  • Ability to establish and nurture effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proven ability to develop, prepare and facilitate large and small group sessions with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Highly established critical thinking skills.
  • Creativity, analytical and conceptual skills to interpret data, identify trends, and develop recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and good judgement.
  • Works respectfully, positively and collaboratively within a team environment sharing experiences and lessons learned.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy. As a condition of employment, all employees are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination status prior to start date.

  • Experience performing EIDAR functions in a health care setting is an asset.
  • Ability to apply an understanding of the impacts of marginalization to an organizational context that has been developed through lived experiences.
  • Ability to speak French or another language
