Equipment Operator, Processing Facilities

GFL Environmental is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Brampton, ON location.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate excavators safely and efficiently.
2. Conduct daily excavator inspections and report defects.
3. Wash excavators at shift end.
4. Maintain cleanliness of ramp to pit rooms and pit room.
5. Coil hoses, rinse totes and drums, crush drums as needed.
6. Supervise truck dumping and take samples.
7. Unload trucks, vac trucks, fluff trucks, or containers as required.
8. Immediately clean any leaking roll-offs.
9. Assist with operations as directed by supervision.
10. Operate loader, skid steer, and forklift.
11. Maintain housekeeping inside and outside the facility.
12. Assist in spill management.
13. Backup truck operations as needed.
14. Communicate any special processing requirements at shift start.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. G Class Driver’s License.
