The successful candidate must hold CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance II, and a valid Class 5 license, with reliable transportation and ability to pass A&D testing.

Qualifications

• Valid CSTS 2020 certification.
• Valid WHMIS 2015 certification.
• Valid Ground Disturbance Level II certification.
• Experience operating excavators (hoes) in construction or industrial settings.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean record.
• Reliable transportation to/from site.
• Ability to pass Alcohol and Drug testing.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate hoes and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

• Conduct daily pre-use inspections and routine maintenance.

Position Summary

Woodland Constructors Ltd. is seeking experienced Hoe Equipment Operators to join the Dow Chemical Site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The successful candidate will safely operate Hoes and other heavy equipment to support excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling activities while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Hoes and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling tasks in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and promptly report any mechanical issues or deficiencies.
