Job summary

Pardy’s Waste Management and Industrial Services Limited in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking dedicated Equipment Operators to operate vacuum, roll-off, wash trucks and related equipment across Pasadena and Mount Pearl. You will adhere to safety policies and work at heights or in confined spaces with training provided.

The role requires valid licences, a clean driving abstract, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while delivering professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (and Class 1/3 if required).
• Clean driving record (abstract).
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong communication and professional representation of the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum truck, roll-off truck, wash truck, jet rodder, and other equipment safely.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies at all times.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces as required, with training provided.
• Use the ADP payroll system and Samsara log system, with training provided.
• Represent the company professionally through communication and reliable service.

In this role, you’ll operate and maintain industrial service equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional service delivery to our valued customers. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in doing things right the first time, every time.

What You’ll Do

• Operate vacuum truck, roll-off truck, wash truck, jet rodder, and other equipment in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
• Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces as required, with training provided.
• Use the ADP electronic payroll system and Samsara electronic log system, with training provided where required.
• Represent the company professionally through strong communication, safe work practices, and reliable service delivery.

What You Bring

• A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a valid Class 1 and/or Class 3 driver’s licence.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment fit-for-work medical and drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely perform physically demanding work.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to representing the company professionally.
