Midwest Co-op is seeking an Operator 2 to safely operate trucks, custom application equipment, and facility machinery under the direction of the Agronomy Location Manager. This role emphasizes safety, quality, compliance, and professionalism while supporting delivery and field application activities.

The position requires a DZ license (or AZ with experience) and a minimum of 3 years driving experience, with opportunities to develop advanced equipment operation and inventory handling skills.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Class DZ or AZ driver's license.
• Must be at least 25 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years experience with class of driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications such as forklift, WHMIS, and TDG.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Customer service focus and willingness to learn new processes.
• Ability to lift materials within company and regulatory limits.

Responsibilities

• Operates straight trucks and custom application equipment.
• Runs facility equipment including forklifts, loaders, payloader, and skid-steer.
• Performs pre-trip and pre-operation inspections; follows maintenance schedules.
• Maintains clean, safe vehicles, equipment, and facility areas.
• Practices safe, defensive driving in varying conditions.
• Supports delivery and field application activities.
