About Us

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Work safely as part of a team to load rail cars and operate mining equipment to move and dig limestone and other materials.
2. Perform vehicle and daily equipment inspections and fueling, greasing of equipment.
3. Inspection of rail cars, bins, chutes, scraper, conveyors and railway tracks.
4. Train on other positions and work as a team member and assist other mine team members, including mechanics and crusher operators.

What Are We Looking For

1. Underground mining experience is an asset.
2. Heavy Equipment or Haul Truck training, experience and certification is an asset.
3. The successful candidate will have a proven safety record as well as a history of being a team player and communicating effectively.

Conditions of Employment

1. Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

Work Environment

1. Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, lifting heavy loads, inclement weather, and elevated noise level.
2. Some operations moving into underground mining (50-year plan).
