Job summary

Iconic Power Systems Inc. in Edmonton, AB, is seeking an Equipment Operator to support local construction projects. You will operate and maintain equipment safely, helping drive productivity and quality on site.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will coordinate with supervisors and crews, participate in safety meetings, perform inspections, and assist with excavation, trenching, and grading while ensuring work meets project specs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Ground Disturbance Training.
• Hoisting and Rigging experience.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate daily work activities with supervisors and site crews.
• Support excavation, trenching, grading, and general civil construction work.
• Participate in site safety meetings and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with hoisting and rigging activities as required.
• Identify and communicate potential project or site issues.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Report equipment deficiencies and repair requirements.
• Support crew operations and provide guidance to less experienced workers when required.
• Ensure work is completed to project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

Position Summary

We are seeking Equipment Operators to support construction projects throughout the Edmonton area. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently while supporting project execution, productivity, and quality on site.
