Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to manage assembly, repair, and calibration of manufacturing equipment used in producing the Globe Catheter for atrial fibrillation treatment. This role is onsite in Burnaby, BC.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance schedules to optimize equipment use
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
• Serve as first-level escalation for equipment failures
• Manage calibration documentation and schedules with external vendors
• Coordinate logistics for calibration and repairs
• Execute IQ testing for new and revised equipment
• Assist with implementing and documenting new and existing equipment changes
• Support manufacturing infrastructure updates
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Conduct cleanroom monitoring and HVAC maintenance

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience
• Experience in regulated environments like ISO13485 or AS9100 preferred
• Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and timely
• Cleanroom environment experience is desirable
• Experience writing procedures and reports
• Flexible and responsible for additional duties as needed

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $60,000 – 80,000 CAD annually, based on experience
