Job description

Reporting to the Yard Manager, the Part-Time Equipment Inventory Clerk is a hands‑on role suited for someone who enjoys working with customers and has a strong attention to detail. This position oversees inventory management across the site, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking and implementing best practices in inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and relevant experience in inventory management. The role requires effective multitasking and the ability to make quick, informed decisions based on available information. • 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field is often preferred.
• Inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar software) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting.
• Ability to perform tasks on specific types of equipment, transportation assets, and industry-relevant assets (e.g., construction, transportation, manufacturing, consumer, oil and gas, agriculture) may be beneficial.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
• Experience demonstrating strong attention to detail in previous roles, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proven Ability to effectively communicate and interact with team members, suppliers, and management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics for inventory calculations, cost analysis, and reporting.
• Work both indoors and outdoors year-round, and climb on and off large equipment trucks.
