The Part-Time Equipment Inventory Clerk role supports yard operations by managing asset records, ensuring accurate labeling, and delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Ability to perform tasks on equipment and assets across multiple sectors; good math skills.
• Proven attention to detail with data entry and record-keeping experience.
• Strong communication with team members, suppliers, and management.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accurate records.
• Work indoors and outdoors year-round, including climbing on large trucks.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure health and safety of employees and customers in the yard.
• Serve as first point of contact for customer queries about inventory and deliveries.
• Oversee and maintain accurate asset records, receipts, releases, and reconciliations.
• Identify and label equipment with make, model, serial numbers, and seller references.
• Communicate with team and customers via email, Teams, and phone.
• Manage documentation (TDG, BOL, ESQ, delivery tickets, customs paperwork) and store in systems.
• Follow processes, report SLAs/KPIs, and support daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
