Job summary

Responsibilities include safe operation of tools, accurate record-keeping, and clear communication with clients and site personnel about maintenance needs and recommended repairs.

Qualifications

  • Requires a secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of relevant vocational or technical training is an asset.
  • Minimum one year of related repair or servicing experience.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service documentation.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment and work in varied environments with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and systematic testing methods.
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements to restore equipment functionality.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections to identify issues and extend equipment life.
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools, testing instruments, and service equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate service records, parts usage logs, and job-related documentation.
  • Provide clear guidance to clients or site personnel regarding equipment operation and repairs.
