Job summary

Charles River Laboratories in Laval, QC, is seeking an Equipment Clerk to support the Equipment & System Validation team. You will manage equipment for studies, perform verification, calibration and maintenance, and assist in equipment-related services in vivarium and laboratories.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime. Starting salary is $23.00/hr plus an annual bonus based on performance, with benefits and a strong emphasis on safety and training.

• Report any problem or potential problems in the conduct of daily activities to the Supervisor or delegate.
• Offer service to the employees for the equipment used in the vivarium and/or laboratories.
• Assist in the training of technical staff.

Job Overview

As an Equipment Clerk for our Equipment & System Validation team at the Laval location, you will be supporting the division and other areas of the company by managing the equipment to be used on studies.

In This Role, Primary Responsibilities Include

Role Specific Information

• Location: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;
• Transportation: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
• Salary: Starting at $23.00/hr;
• Annual bonus based on performance;
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime. Depending on the business needs, you may have to do overtime;
• Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
