Job summary

Infotek Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Build Analyst for a 1 year contract to support Project AMP.

The role focuses on transforming appointment scheduling using Epic Scheduling and MyChart, with a goal to improve equitable access to care and streamline operations. The candidate will work with clinical, operational, and IT teams to implement, optimize, configure, test, and stabilize Epic Scheduling solutions for ambulatory workflows, ensuring adherence to Epic standards

Qualifications

  • Epic Cadence certification or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Proven experience configuring and supporting Epic scheduling workflows.
  • Experience with scheduling optimization and workflow analysis in healthcare.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Epic scheduling functionality (appointment types, provider templates, scheduling rules).
  • Design, build, and optimize scheduling workflows aligned with modernization goals.
  • Analyze current scheduling processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and access.
  • Support configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Collaborate with clinical/operational/technical teams to translate requirements into Epic solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide production support.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and testing scripts.
  • Participate in change management and end-user training/support.
  • Ensure alignment with Epic standards and project timelines.

Job description

We are looking for an EPIC Cadence Build Analyst for a 1 year contract with high possibility of extension.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic Scheduling Modernization Analyst to support Project AMP, an enterprise initiative focused on transforming appointment scheduling through standardized workflows and enhanced utilization of Epic and MyChart. This initiative is designed to improve equitable access to care, streamline scheduling operations, and deliver a consistent experience for patients, providers, and administrative staff.

The successful candidate will collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and project teams to implement, optimize, configure, test, and stabilize Epic Scheduling solutions while supporting future-state ambulatory and scheduling workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Epic scheduling functionality, including appointment types, provider templates, scheduling rules, referrals, waitlists, and decision trees.
  • Design, build, and optimize scheduling workflows that align with organizational modernization objectives and operational best practices.
  • Analyze current scheduling processes and recommend workflow improvements to increase efficiency and improve patient access.
  • Support application configuration, testing, integrated testing, defect resolution, implementation, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into Epic system solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution and ongoing production support.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, build specifications, workflow diagrams, and testing scripts.
  • Participate in change management activities, knowledge transfer, and end-user support.
  • Ensure solutions align with Epic standards, organizational policies, and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Cadence certification or certification in the applicable Epic module, or the ability to obtain certification as required.
  • Proven experience performing Epic analyst responsibilities, including application configuration, build, testing, implementation, and production support.
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations and clinical or ambulatory workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Epic scheduling concepts, provider templates, referrals, and appointment management.
  • Experience with system configuration, workflow analysis, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and end-user support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic Scheduling Modernization or enterprise scheduling initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Epic MyChart scheduling functionality.
  • Knowledge of ambulatory workflow optimization and patient access strategies.
  • Experience participating in large-scale Epic implementation or optimization projects.
  • Familiarity with integrated testing, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
