An established industry player is seeking a Regional Vice President to oversee operations in Toronto and North Bay. Reporting to the Vice President Operations, the Regional Vice President is responsible for the development and servicing of a profitable regional book of business ensuring that results are delivered in full compliance with corporate objectives.
Located in our North Bay office, the Regional Vice President is responsible for strengthening client relationships, consolidating and developing business as well as efficiently managing the Toronto and North Bay branches’ day-to-day operations with full adherence to corporate philosophy, procedures, policies and guidelines. The incumbent will demonstrate a thorough understanding of local market trends and will remain up-to-date in all lines of business with strong knowledge of commercial lines. In order to ensure that our products respond to evolving market needs, the Regional Vice President will brief Head Office on the latest local market trends, brokers’ needs, market challenges and opportunities as well as make recommendations for required changes. He / she must excel in talent management in order to attract, develop, motivate and retain qualified employees as well as provide staff with coaching when necessary. Finally, the incumbent will be able to successfully develop and implement strategic and operational plans, budgets and optimal practices, while monitoring and evaluating the ensuing results.
