Sunnybrook is seeking an Environmental Services worker to perform routine cleaning and terminal cleaning procedures across campus facilities in Toronto, Ontario. The role requires adherence to Infection Prevention Control protocols and the ability to operate standard housekeeping equipment.

Applicants should have prior Environmental Services experience, English proficiency, WHMIS training, and the flexibility to work at multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in Environmental Services.
• Must have scored 70%+ on Environmental Services Core Competency test.
• Minimum Grade 11 education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English competently.
• Must have attended WHMIS training.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to operate swing buffer, high speed burnisher and automatic scrubber.
• Must use PPE including CBRN gear, full-faced mask, and Tyvek suit.
• Must possess Infection Control Core Competency Certificate.
• Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds.
• Must perform the essential physical duties of the job.
• Must be prepared to respond to CBRN incidents and work at all campuses.

• Carry out terminal cleaning procedures as prescribed by established procedures in preparation for new admissions.
• Clean isolation rooms according to specific Infection Prevention Control protocols.
