Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an Environmental Service Worker to join our Support Services team at Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie, BC. If you are a reliable, flexible and motivated individual, you will contribute to maintaining clean, safe patient and staff areas.

This permanent full-time role offers rotating day/evening shifts (06:30–14:30, 12:00–20:00, 09:50–17:50) and is based at Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie, a mountain town known for outdoor recreation.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the facility and maintains clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as patient, resident, and client rooms along with washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents.
